Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Minimum requirements: Master's degree or equivalent degree in Software Engineering or a related technical field plus 3 years of relevant experience. Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in Software Engineering or a related technical field plus 7 years of relevant experience.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have (the following required skills can be gained concurrently): 3 years of experience developing or testing network software applications; 3 years of experience testing and evaluating solutions based on DNS technologies; 3 years of experience working with HTTP web content filtering solutions; 3 years of hands-on experience with internet/security protocols (e.g. TCP/UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SSL, TLS, IPSec); 3 years of experience developing test automation in one or more of the following languages: Python, Shell Scripting, JavaScript, or Java; 3 years of experience working in Linux/Unix environment, with the ability to install, configure, and debug packages in Unix environments; 3 years of experience working with the following devops tools: Jenkins, Git, Maven, and Docker; 3 years of experience with test tools and continuous integration systems, such as: Jenkins, JIRA Zephyr, Casper, etc.; and 3 years of prior experience in a leadership role. Additionally, the following skills are required (no required amount or number of years of experience): Proficiency with running and troubleshooting SQL queries and explain plans (or equivalent) against SQL databases, specifically Postgresql and Vertica; demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating ability to document testing protocols in whitepapers to be shared with architects; demonstrated experience with high volume, high availability applications, and systems; experience with Internet security, firewalls, and encryption technologies; experience with testing very large scale, distributed systems; experience with testing transparent HTTP Proxy solutions; experience with testing solutions that leverage Apache Kafka ad Zookeeper; solid understanding of modern web application architecture, Apache Tomcat, Jetty, Spring, relational databases, web services, and n-tier architecture; and strong problem solving and technical troubleshooting skills, attention to detail.
