Senior Reliability Engineer

Required Education and Experience:
* 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related technical field or
* 6 years of relevant experience and a Masters degree in Computer Science or related technical field

Required Skills:
* 8+ years of product or systems support experience.
* 5+ years of experience with Linux or other Unix-based systems.
* 5+ years of experience scripting with Python and/or shell scripting
* 3+ years of experience in debugging complex microservices applications.

Desired Skills:
* Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services.
* Good RDBMS / SQL experience (preferably Oracle).
* Hands on experience in using monitoring tools such as Grafana and Telegraf.
* Define requirements and code tools in order to automate troubleshooting tasks.
* Experience with UI technologies, good understanding of product/application usability.
* Experience with Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Git, Stash.
* Good experience in testing REST based API interfaces.
* Must be an out-of-the-box thinker willing to challenge conventional approaches and build consensus around innovative solutions.
* Must be a continuous learner, excellent communicator, works well in team environment, appreciates challenge, comfortable and effective working in new areas that require experimentation and rapid problem solving.
