Senior Software Development Engineer in Test

Required Education and Experience:

* 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, relevant engineering field or equivalent practical experience.

* 3 years of relevant experience and a Master’s degree in Computer Science, relevant engineering field or equivalent practical experience.

Required Skills:

* Minimum of 3 years’ professional test automation or software development experience or equivalent.

* Minimum of 3 years’ working level skills in Java OR with an object-oriented language such as C++ or C#.

* Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with a scripting language such as Python, Perl, Ruby, Javascript, etc.

* Minimum of 3 years’ working with Linux/Unix-like operating systems.

Desired Skills:

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems; ability to think abstractly

* Good testing acumen and attention to detail

* Driven, positive attitude, team player, self-motivated

* Ability to effectively articulate technical test challenges into automated test solutions

* Experience with build-to-test automation, continuous integration

* Automated testing & test-driven development

* Agile/Lean software development methodologies

* Experience with web performance optimization

* Experience with HTTP and debugging HTTP traffic

* Passion to making the internet infrastructure faster and reliable

* Domain knowledge in the area of Web server (apache/IIS), proxy server, and caching technology desired

* Experience contributing to a continuous delivery / cloud / SAAS project

* Experience with Web Technologies: Web Proxy Servers, Web Servers, web applications and web services
