Senior Software Development Engineer in Test

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience
Applicants must meet one of the following education and experience requirements:
· 6 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or
· 4 years of relevant experience and a Master’s degree or
· 2 years of relevant experience and a PhD

Required Skills
· 3+ years of experience in software quality and/or software development engineering
· 2+ years of experience in Java on a Linux/Unix environment
· 2+ years of experience using CI tools like Jenkins and version control software like git, perforce etc.
· 2+ years of experience in testing SOAP/REST based API interfaces and Service-Oriented Architectures
· 2+ years of experience working with RESTful Webservies, XML, JSON
· 3+ years of experience working in Agile environment

Desired Skills
· Domain knowledge in the areas of web server (apache / tomcat), proxy server and browser technologies
· Familiarity with DevOPs concepts
· Meticulous attention to detail and excellent debugging/troubleshooting skills
· Ability to visualize a feature end-to-end & work with minimal supervision
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Highly responsible, self-disciplined, self-motivated, able to work with little or no supervision
· Good written and verbal communications skills
