Required Education and Experience
Applicants must meet one of the following education and experience requirements:
* 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or its equivalent or
* 6 years of relevant experience and a Master’s degree in computer science/engineering or
* 3 years of relevant experience and a PhD
Required Skills
* 5+ years of experience developing or testing IaaS platforms
* 5+ years of experience developing or testing network software applications
* 5+ years of hands-on experience with internet/security protocols such as TCP/UDP, HTTPS, DNS, SSL, TLS, IPSec
* 5+ years of experience developing automation
* 5+ years of experience working in Linux environments
Desired Skills
* Experience with Kubernetes and/or OpenStack
* Experience in IaaS adoption in a non-virtualized legacy environment
* Experience with Container environments: Docker and/or LXC
* Data center utilization monitoring and COGs modeling
* Linux host system hypervisors including KVM
* Linux kernel development and/or performance tuning
* Designing, implementing and deploying continuous build/deployment frameworks
* Site reliability engineering and/or work related including service performance
* Experience with Internet security, firewalls, and encryption technologies
* Experience with testing very large scale, distributed systems
* Familiarity with test tools and continuous integration systems, such as Jenkins
* Strong problem solving and technical troubleshooting skills, attention to detail
* Willingness and flexibility to switch between multiple high priority assignments
