Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
* 5 years' distributed computing experience
* 5+ years of experience in Java in a system-oriented environment.
* 3+ years of experience with SQL.
* 3+ years of experience with HTTP.
* 3+ years' experience in deploying, supporting and debugging complex applications in a system-oriented environment.
Desired Qualifications
* Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Experienced with JavaScript
* Functional programming experience using Haskell, Scala, or related languages.
* Experience with Open-Source frameworks and functions such as Mesos, Kafka, Cassandra, Spark, and Ceph.
* Fast learner, adaptable, strong team player.
