Required education and experience

Education in Computer Science or a related field.

* Minimum of 3 years' experience coding in C++.

* Minimum of 3 years' experience developing distributed applications/services.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience working with UNIX/Linux operating system.

Desired Qualifications

* Experience with TCP congestion control and forward error correction.
* Experience with Internet Security, firewalls, and/or Linux iptables.
* Experience with Linux internals.

* Experience with SQL.
* Experience with client/server development.
* Experience developing large-scale, large-volume and highly distributed systems.
* Highly driven, positive attitude, team player, self-motivated and very flexible.
* Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills.

* Excellent oral and written communications skills.
