MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or related equivalent degree. Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or related equivalent degree plus 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of a Master's degree.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have: Demonstrated experience using Java in a Linux environment with an eye for performance, concurrency and fault tolerance; proven ability developing applications with Java, Spring, Hibernate, JUnit; demonstrated experience with Relational Databases such as PostgreSQL; demonstrated experience working with common Internet protocols (IP, TCP, SSL/TLS, HTTP, DNS); experience designing and building REST APIs; demonstrated backend server development experience on Linux/Unix platforms; demonstrated experience in design and development for mission critical, high-availability systems; experience with scripting languages such as Unix Shell Scripts; and must be self-directed with excellent oral and written communication skills.
