Senior Software Engineer

Required Education and Experience  

Applicants must meet one of the following education and experience requirements:  

*  5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Required Skills:  

*  5+ years of relevant software development experience 

*  5+ years of experience developing software in Python or Java 

*  3+ years experience with Linux/Unix environment 

Desired Skills:

*  Eligible to obtain a Security Clearance 

*  Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver products 

*  Knowledge of networking principles, including TCP/IP, SSH, SSL and HTTP protocols 

*  Responsible, motivated, and able to work independently 

*  Experience with BigData systems (Hadoop, Spark, HBase, etc) and principles (Map/Reduce, Stream Processing, etc) 

*  Experience with a variety of programming languages: C/C++, Perl, Scala, Shell, SQL 

*  Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 

*  Self-driven and able to thrive on challenges 

*  Adaptable and eager to learn
