Senior Software Engineer II

Required Education and Experience:

* 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field

* 6 years of relevant experience and a Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field

Required Skills:

* 6+ years experience in software development role

* 3+ years experience programming for Linux systems 

* 2+ years writing C, C++ or Rust programs in a professional setting

Desired Skills:

* Experience with Rust programming language would be preferred.    

* Familiarity with JavaScript or Ruby programming languages is recommended.  

* Experience building high performance daemons and services, especially with experience implementing asynchronous I/O.

* Experience with UNIX System programming. 

* Experience using Linux isolation features like seccomp, namespaces, and cgroups.

* Familiarity with continuous integration systems and programmatic testing.  

* Familiarity with UNIX tools like perf, strace.

* Good written and verbal communication skills.
