Senior Software Engineer - Mapping

Required Education and Experience

Applicants must meet one of the following education and experience requirements:

 * 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or

* 3 years of relevant experience and a Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field or

* Relevant experience and a PhD

Required Skills

* Minimum of 5 years of experience working in C/C++ or similar object-oriented language

Desired Skills

* Experience building scalable servers or distributed systems

* Familiarity with Linux operating system

* Knowledge of scripting (e.g. perl, python, shell)

* Familiarity with Internet protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, SNMP

* Experience with network monitoring

* Comfort learning any of the above (this is key!)
