Senior Software Engineer- UI

Required Education and Experience:

Applicants must meet one of the following education and experience requirements:

* 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or

* 3 years of relevant experience and a Master’s degree or

* Relevant experience and PhD

Required Skills: 

* 5+ years of experience in UI development for web applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS 

* 5+ year with JavaScript based UI frameworks such as Angular, React etc.

Desired Skills: 

* Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms 

* Experience with performance Optimization (for example: reducing memory footprint and run time)

* Familiarity with the quirks and idiosyncrasies of major browsers like Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Windows IE/Edge

* UI (JavaScript, Ajax, JSON-based REST APIs, Angular/React), back end and database experience (Java, SQL, Hibernate, Spring, Ruby, or Python)

* Understanding of the HTTP protocol

* Familiarity with web security
