Senior SQA Engineer

Required Education and Experience

Applicants must meet one of the following education and experience requirements:

* 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent or

* 3 years of relevant experience and a Master’s degree or

* Relevant experience and a PhD

Required Skills

* 5+ years of experience in testing network software applications

* 3+ years working with internet protocols, e.g. TCP/UDP, HTTP, DNS, SSL

* 2+ years of experience working in Linux/Unix environment

* 2+ years of experience using databases and SQL commands

* 2+ years of experience developing automation in Perl, Python, Java or C++

Desired Qualifications

* Experience with testing very large scale, distributed systems

* Experience with database applications and proficiency in SQL

* Experience with Apache Cassandra or Docker

* Strong problem solving and technical troubleshooting skills, attention to detail

* Willingness and flexibility to switch between multiple high priority assignments

* Excellent verbal and written communications skills
