Senior System Operations Engineer

Basic

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience

* 4+ years of experience in operations or system administration

* Strong skills in working with Unix/Linux systems

* An understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, UDP, etc.)

* Basic SQL

* Working knowledge of a scripting language (Python, Perl, shell) 

Desired

* In-depth knowledge of internet protocols such as DNS, HTTP, SSL

* Experience with the operation of internet-scale systems

* The ability to apply technical knowledge toward analyzing, diagnosing and resolving issues in a large complex production environment

* Effectively communicate and collaborate with multiple teams across multiple sites

* Self-motivated with a consistent drive towards results
