Applicants must meet one of the following education and experience requirements: 
 * 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or
 * 6 years of relevant experience and a Master’s degree or
 * 3 years of relevant experience and a PhD or
 * Equivalent professional experience

Required Skills
* 8+ years of relevant professional experience
* 8+ years of experience in Server side QA/Test Engineering
* 5+ years of QA experience with distributed systems.
* 5+ years of experience with test automaton frameworks like PyUnit, TestNG, RobotFramework
* 5+ years of experience developing Perl scripts, Python scripts, shell scripts and test automation
* 5+ years of experience with UNIX/Linux and Windows Operating System
* 3+ years working knowledge of HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP required

Desired Skills
* MS/M Computer Science degree preferred
* Good understanding of contemporary QA/test principles, methodologies, and techniques in regards to black/white box testing and test automation needed
* Domain knowledge in the area of Web server (apache/IIS), proxy server and caching technology strongly desired
* Familiarity with media streaming technologies such as Flash/RTMP/HDS, HLS/DASH/CMAF/HTTP Streaming, Silverlight/Smooth Streaming, encoding technologies(H.264/AAC, VC1, VP6), streaming codecs and containers is strongly desired.
* Experience in content creation using custom/stock encoders is a plus.
* Experience with live/on-demand stream transcoding is a plus.
* Experience with SSO and Authentication and Authorization mechanisms is a plus.
* Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills
* Excellent verbal and written communications skills
* Good understanding of Agile Methodology.
* Highly driven, positive attitude, team player, self-learning, self-motivating and flexibility are some of the attributes needed for this position
