Senior Systems Engineer – Identity and Access Management (IAM)
Required Education and Experience
* Minimum 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or its equivalent.
Required Skills
* 5+ years of applied experience with Single Sign-On
* 5+ years of Systems Engineer experience
* 3+ years of applied experience with Shell/Perl Scripting
Desired Skills
* Excellent troubleshooting skills, including the troubleshooting and debugging SSO issues
* Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills; ability to effectively explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical staff including executives
* Strong attention to detail with excellent organization skills
* Strong experience with source control systems (e.g. Git) and configuration management (e.g. Ansible) tools
* Extensive experience with Shibboleth IdP (SAML)
* Experience with Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS)
* Experience with MFA technologies [e.g. 2-Factor, Duo or other Security Tokens/Security Token Services (STS)]
* Working knowledge of Windows based scripting technologies (VBscript,PowerShell)
* Knowledge of Linux/Unix authorization and authentication modules
* Understanding of the use of certificates, PKI, keystores, signing, encryption, and cryptographic protocols such as TLS
* One Identity (formerly Quest) Active Roles Server (ARS) configuration and engineering experience
* Good understanding of the ITIL frameworks along with the incident, problem and change management processes and procedures
* Willingness to take initiative and to overcome obstacles to achieve personal, organizational, and company goals
* Passion for pushing the limits of IAM technologies and their use in the workplace as a means to accomplish business objectives
* Good analytical skills and Project Management skills
* The ability to work well within a technical team, as well as interface well with the outside business units, HelpDesk team, Desktop support team, IT developers and analysts, and individual customers from the business user community.
