Required Education and Experience
Applicants must meet one of the following education and experience requirements:
* 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or
* 6 years of relevant experience and a Master’s degree
Required Skills
* 8+ years overall experience
* 6+ years of experience in at least one of Perl, PHP, or Python.
* 6+ of experience with Linux, BSD or any other UNIX based OS.
* 6+ of experience with RDBMS (MySQL and Oracle a plus) including data modeling and SQL query tuning.
* 6+ of experience with web technologies like HTML, Javascript and CSS.
Desired Skills
* Strong written and verbal communication
* Experience with XML and SOAP (Web Services) interfaces.
* Previous exposure to Expect a bonus.
* Understanding and experience with Internet protocols, ISP or Corporate networks, and network operations.
* Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade switches and routers.
* Hands-on experience doing systems administration in a Linux environment.
* Ability to work in a small-team environment.
* A strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
