Senior Systems Engineer - Perforce Admin

Basic Qualification and experience

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Electronics Engineering preferred

• Prior experience of 8 years in administration of SCM with 4 years of experience in Perforce platform.

• Good work experience on PerfMerge, PerfSplit, P4p, P4d, Readonly Replica’s, Forwarding Replica’s, P4 Brokers, Edge server setup, Remote Depots, Swarm, Git fusion,

• Proficiency in developing scripts using puppet/perl

• Perforce in architecture, administration, troubleshooting, tuning capacity.

• Good troubleshooting skills on Linux, Windows, Mac and on All perforce applications,

• Good Linux administration skills,

• Branch creation and merging strategies Ability to collaborate with Engineering, QA and Operation teams

• Good technical problem solving skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Understanding of storage & networking concepts

• Good Understanding of  SAN, NAS, DAS, SSD, SCSI, SATA, SAS etc

• Knowledge on Network Fundamentals,

• Knowledge on DNS, DHCP, Wins, NIS, NFS, SAMBA, Apache, etc

• KNowledge of logroate, syslogsd, rsyslogd, sshd, SNMP,  telnet, etc.

• Knowledge of Iptables, UFS,

• Fundamental knowledge of External Firewall devices, DMZ, Load Balancers,

• Willingness and ability to learn newer technologies as needed

Desired Qualification and experience

• Experience with Agile methodology

• Knowledge and experience with build and release duties and methodologies is a big plus.

             Knowledge of Jenkins, Hudson, mysql is a plus,

            Knowledge of Atlassian Bitbucket / GitHub is a plus.
