Senior Technical Consultant

Qualifications 

Required Education and Experience Applicants must meet one of the following education and experience requirements: 

* 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or its equivalent or 

* 6 years of relevant experience and a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or its equivalent or 

* 3 years of relevant experience and a PhD in Computer Science or Electrical/Computer Engineering 

Required Skills 

* 8+ years of experience with design and development for high-availability systems 

* 3+ years of experience of core Internet and web protocols (e.g. HTTP, HTTP/2, TLS, TCP, IP, DNS). * 3+ years of experience working at a senior technologist or architect level in a networking, cloud, or distributed computing environment. 

* 3+ years of experience in the Internet or enterprise networking industry. 

Desired Skills 

* Enterprise level knowledge of Federal / DoD / IC systems, their programmatic and acquisitions structures. 

* Strong experience with systems architecture and API development in the Cloud including extensive experience with designing IaaS, SaaS and PaaS products. 

* Commanding knowledge of Web application protocols and techniques behind today's rich and/or transactional web services (HTML/DHTML, XML, AJAX, SOAP/REST, DOM, JavaScript, CSS, etc). 

* Experience in enterprise class and/or large scale web application systems operations. 

* Highly responsible, self-disciplined, motivated, creative, and confident. 

* Excellent relationship-building skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams that include all skill levels. 

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in conveying complex technical content to a variety of audiences. 

* Excellent mentorship and leadership skills, with a track record of sharing knowledge and proactively increasing the skills & abilities of teammates.
