Our IT Program Management team is dedicated to owning and driving the innovation of Akamai's Corporate Infrastructure. Information Technology manages all aspects of the IT Program Lifecycle as well as the coordination and delivery of key cross-organizational strategic programs.

As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will have end-to-end accountability for the delivery of projects and programs. You will lead strategic and complex programs from planning to sustainment, while reporting program benefits to stakeholders.

As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Managing complex, cross-functional multi-year projects and programs
• Managing stakeholder engagement and expectations
• Presenting and reporting to all levels of the business from team members to executives
• Identifying risks and issues, demonstrating proactive problem solving in complex environments
• Defining detailed program / project plans and ensure team members are accountable for their activities
• Adopting best-practice guidelines and implement continuous improvements to PMO processes

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 8+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in business management or its equivalent
• Have professional experience as a Program Manager, Business Analyst, or Consultant
• Have experience with implementing SaaS based applications and managing system implementation providers
• Have prior experience with mergers and acquisitions
• Be able to work effectively across a wide range of constituencies in a diverse corporate and client environment
