Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Required Skills:

● 2+ years of experience in operating and supporting complex web applications operating in microservice architectures;

● Knowledge of Java application management;

● Familiarity with Web programming technologies (HTML, JavaScript, JSP, etc.);

● Experience with Python, bash or similar scripting languages;

● Experience with SQL/relational databases and NoSQL databases (Oracle, Apache Cassandra) for troubleshooting and data analysis; 

● Experience working with REST API and hands on experience in using API clients;

● Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS);

● Experience in operation and administration of Linux based servers infrastructure;
● Understanding of public cloud (preferably Microsoft Azure) and experience in operating hybrid cloud & on-premises architectures;

● Good verbal and written communication skills.

Other skills:

● Practical ability to automate by scripting in Python, bash or similar scripting languages;

●Experience with analyzing logs using tools, such as Splunk, ELK (ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana), Grafana;

● Prior experience using version control systems, like GIT and Perforce;

● Ability to prioritize and manage multiple issues to ensure resolution of the most critical ones.
