Qualifications
* 2 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or its equivalent or
* Relevant experience and a Master’s degree in Computer Science or
* PhD in Computer Science
Required Skills
* 1+ years experience working with Internet protocols including HTTP, TLS, and DNS
* 1+ years experience with programming in Java or Python
* 1+ years development experience on Linux/ Unix platforms
Desired Qualifications
* Masters in Computer Science or related field with a focus on networking, distributed systems or system architecture
* 1+ years experience working with Internet protocols including HTTP, TLS, and DNS
* 1+ years experience with programming in Java or Python
* 1+ years development experience on Linux/ Unix platforms

* Expertise with building scalable servers or distributed systems
* Experience with virtualization technologies such as Docker, LXC, and virtual machines highly preferred.
* Experience with database technologies and concepts such as Apache Cassandra, NoSQL, and PostgreSQL.
* Familiarity with Kafka, etcd, and other open source distributed systems preferred but not required.
* Familiarity with Angular, CSS, NodeJS, WSGI, and Apache WebServer preferred but not required.
* Experience with virtualization technologies such as Docker, LXC, and virtual machines highly preferred.
* Experience with database technologies and concepts such as Apache Cassandra, NoSQL, and PostgreSQL.
* Familiarity with Kafka, etcd, and other open source distributed systems preferred but not required.
* Familiarity with Angular, CSS, NodeJS, WSGI, and Apache WebServer preferred but not required.
* Proven track record of delivering large amounts of high quality, complex code.
* Highly responsible, self-disciplined, self-managed, self-motivated, able to work with little or no supervision.
* Extensive experience working on multiple projects at a time in a fast paced, results oriented environment.
