Software Engineer

Qualifications

Applicants must meet one of the following education and experience requirements: 
● BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical field 

● 1-year of relevant work experience in software development

Required Skills
● 1+ years experience in C/C++, Java, Python or Go.
● 1+ years experience with Linux.

Desired Skills
● MS or PhD degree in Computer Science or related field.
● Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
● Self-motivated, highly responsible, able to work with little supervision.
● Experience building scalable, production-grade distributed systems.
● Experience with databases, SQL, and/or distributed key-value storage solutions.
● Experience with orchestration, virtualization, and containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.

● Familiarity with common Internet protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, and TLS/SSL
