Software Engineer

Required Education and Experience:

Applicants must meet one of the following education and experience requirements:

* Relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or

* Relevant experience and a Master’s degree

Required Skills:

* Minimum of 1 year relevant experience as a software engineer

* Minimum of 1 year relevant experience with web technologies, such as Java Spring, REST, Hibernate

Desired Qualifications:

* Experience in UI development for web applications using HTML, Ajax and CSS.

* Familiarity with JavaScript based UI frameworks such as Angular, React etc.

* Experience with scripting languages such as Perl, Python or Unix Shell Scripts. 

* Familiarity with the quirks and idiosyncrasies of major browsers like Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Windows IE/Edge

* Familiarity with server-side development using Java Spring, Hibernate, REST API, JUnit, XML, JavaScript and SQL.

* Proven track record of developing and deploying substantially complex websites (ideally on par with Fortune 500 brands)

* Solid knowledge of the HTTP protocol.

* Prior experience with AWS, networking/security related products is a plus
