Software Engineer II

Required Education and Experience:

* 2 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

* Relevant experience and a Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Required Skills:

* 2+ year development experience with Java

* 2+ year development experience with JavaScript, HTML and CSS/SASS

Desired Skills:

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Fast learner, adaptable, strong team player

* Good knowledge of algorithms and data structures

* Should have strong Problem-Solving skills with a focus on optimization

* Familiar with various design and architectural patterns

* Experience with Webpack, NPM, React, Redux, and Flow

* Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL

* Experience with any/all of: WebSockets, multi-threading programming, Node.js

* Exposure to Unix and Mac OS X is desired

* An eye for creative design

* Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
