Software Engineer II

Required Education and Experience:
* 2 years of relevant experience and a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Networking or related technical field or
* Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Networking or related technical field

Required Skills:
* Minimum 2 years of experience in one or more of the following languages and technologies: Python, Perl, SQL, C/C++.
* Minimum 2 years of experience of UNIX/Linux
* Minimum 2 years of experience of HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP required

Desired Qualifications
* Experience in Full Stack Development experience using Python, Django, Flask, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Celery, Redis, MongoDB, Grafana/InfluxDB
* Strong understanding of SDLC, contemporary QA/test principles, methodologies, techniques with regards to White box testing and test automation
* Excellent knowledge in Data structures and developing Algorithms.
* Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Highly driven, positive attitude, team player, self-learning, self-motivating and flexibility are some of the attributes needed for this position
* Knowledge of software testing automation frameworks like Appium & Selenium, Container technologies like Dockers, Kubernetes and continuous integration tools like Jenkins is a plus.
* Experience using JMeter for Load/Performance testing.
* Experience using GIT or Perforce version control software.
* Experience working with Media streaming technologies like HLS, DASH and Encoders is a plus
* Domain knowledge in the area of Web Servers (Apache/IIS), Proxy Server and Caching technology is a plus.
