Software Engineer II

Basic Qualification

●     B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or related field with minimum 2 - 4 years of relevant experience

●     Must be highly skilled with hands-on experience in developing software spanning across C/C++/python on Linux environment. Should be able to develop and roll-out solutions with high quality.

●     Must have prior experience in developing software which caters to distributed, large-scale systems with critical focus on performance, resource utilization, system stability, efficiency and other aspects.

●     Must have a detailed knowledge on various concepts in OS such as multi-threading, IPC, Mutexes, Signals.

●     Must have gook working knowledge on design principles and must have the ability to apply them during the software development process.

●     Must have exposure to various quality control tools available in software development, how to apply them and control the development quality.

●     Must be able to analyze, trouble shoot and formulate solutions for a highly complex network issues at scale which are deployed to handle huge data load in real time.

●     Must have the ability to triage issues in production, analyze in-depth issues related to Big Data system at scale, work with various teams and be able to solve problem effectively.

●     Should be able to demonstrate leadership skills and help team members to solve complex issues to logical conclusion on day-day basis.

Desired Qualification

●     Proven track record of delivering large amounts of high quality, complex code

●     Highly responsible, motivated, able to work with little supervision

●     Exposure to BigData systems (Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Kafka, Zoo Keeper, Cassandra) and principles (Map/Reduce, etc.)

●     Exposure to scripting, e.g. Perl, Python, bash and API's

●     Exposure to operating system internals and distributed systems.
