Software Engineer II

Required Education and Experience

Applicants must meet one of the following education and experience requirements:

*Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or 

*An advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.

Required Skills

*3+ years experience with Python, Perl or Java

*3+ years experience working on Linux/Unix platforms

*3+ years experience in networking systems

*2+ years experience with SQL

Desired Skills

*Experience building scalable servers or distributed systems

*Proven track record of delivering large amounts of high quality, complex code

*Familiarity with Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes

*Familiarity with virtualization technologies

*Familiarity using Perforce, Git, Jira and Bugzilla

*Highly responsible, self-disciplined, self-managed, self-motivated, able to work with little or no supervision

*Experience working on multiple projects at a time in a fast paced, results oriented environment
