DevOps Engineer II - Python/LINUX

Required Education and Experience

Applicants must meet one of the following education and experience requirements: 
 * 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or
 * Relevant experience and a Master’s degree or PhD or
 * Equivalent professional experience

Required Skills

• Minimum of 3 years writing code in at least one of the following: Python, Perl or PHP

• Minimum of 3 years working in a Linux/UNIX environment in a Systems Administration capacity

• Minimum of 3 years managing a relational database (mysql/postgresql)

• Strong communication skills

• Excellent problem solving skills

Desired Skills

• Experience with deployment and continuous integration tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt, Jenkins, Bamboo)

• Experience managing Big Data or Time Series databases: Hadoop, Apache Cassandra, InfluxDB, Druid, etc
