Software Engineer II - Java

Required Skills

*3-4 years of development and delivery experience in Java/J2EE domain

*Hands-on experience in analysis, design, coding, and implementation of complex, custom-built applications 

*Great Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) skills, including strong design patterns knowledge 

*Experience in Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) such as ReST.

*Experience with relational databases, such as MySQL, Oracle.

*Knowledge of software best practices, such as Test-Driven Development (TDD) and continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD)

*Experience with Git

*Basic knowledge of NoSQL preferably Cassandra.

*Experience working in Linux/Unix environment

*Strong knowledge of Java 8 and lambda expressions

*Experience working with Docker

*Desire to contribute to the wider technical community through collaboration with other technologists 

*Experience working with, or an interest in Agile Methodologies, such as Scrum 

Desired Skills

*A strong working knowledge of Spring Integration/Spring Boot, REST API services

*Basic knowledge of UI Technologies like AngularJS, HTML 5 and CSS.
