Senior Software Engineer
Required Education and Experience
* 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or its equivalent
* 3 years of relevant experience and a Master’s degree in Computer Science or its equivalent or
* 1 years of relevant experience and a PhD in Computer Science or its equivalent
Required Skills:
* 5+ years experience with one or more of the following languages—Ruby on Rails, Java, Python, Perl
* 5+ years experience with web application development
* 5+ years experience with a major Javascript framework such as Angular or React
* 5+ years experience using REST APIs and Web Services
* 5+ years experience working on Linux/Unix platforms.
Desired Skills
* In‐depth knowledge of JavaScript and CSS designs and patterns
* Experience with Ruby on Rails
* Experience with databases: SQL, NoSQL, Graphs
* Experience with automated unit testing, especially of Javascript code
* Experience with designing REST APIs
* Highly responsible, self‐disciplined, self‐managed, self‐motivated; able to work with little or no supervision.
* Extensive experience working on multiple projects at a me in a fast paced, results oriented environment.
* Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
