Required Education and Experience

* 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or

* Equivalent professional experience"
Required Skills
*5+ years of Experience in C/C++ and Python.
*5+ years of Experience with Linux.
*5+ years of Experience with common Internet protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, and TLS/SSL.
*5+ years of strong expertise with building scalable servers or distributed systems.
*3+ years developing secure applications leveraging cryptographic libraries like OpenSSL, libsodium, etc.
*3+ years of experience with databases and SQL.
Desired Skills
*Masters or Ph.D in Computer Science or related field with a focus on networking, distributed systems, system architecture, or security
*Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
*Self-motivated, highly responsible, able to work with little supervision.
*Experience building scalable, production-grade distributed systems.
*Experience with databases, SQL, and/or distributed key-value storage solutions.
*Experience developing secure applications, working with security architectures/libraries, and integrating with technologies such as GPG, SSL, SSH, PKI
*Experience creating and supporting RESTful APIs and infrastructure tools and libraries
