Expected Business Skills

The successful candidate will have:
• University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Demonstrated ability to make appropriate scoping decisions
• 5+ years of work experience in the Performance Testing arena and/or consulting organization
• 2+ years software experience in a customer facing technical role
• Experience with JavaScript and proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Java, C/C++, Perl, C#, VB
• Knowledge in various operating systems: Linux and Windows are must
• Experience with TCP/IP network debugging with tcpdump or similar.
The following abilities and skills will be considered an advantage:
• Experience with data processing, Real Time Reporting and Analytics
• Performance testing experience in e-commerce environments
• Experience with performance testing tools such as CloudTest, LoadRunner, Silk Performer or JMeter
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking (proxies, firewalls, etc.), and common web technologies (HTTP, REST, Web Services, XML, etc.)
• Working knowledge of e-commerce web infrastructure components
• Knowledge of testing methodologies and competitive testing tools
• Knowledge of Network design, operation, and performance tuning
• Knowledge of system performance analysis and capacity planning
