Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
Required Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of experience with Internet technologies including TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS and web servers.
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience within the security field (e.g. Firewalls/VPN, Security Event Management, Data Loss Prevention or related.)
- Must have at least either an Industry recognized security certifications (CISSP, CISA, CEH, etc.) or equivalent years in experience.
- Must provide mentoring to the team members
- Collaborate with the team initiatives, automating tasks
- Take escalations coming from Level 1
- Must handle Kona, Prolexic and Bot Manager products
Desired Skills
- Industry recognized security certifications (CISSP, CISA, CEH, etc.).
- Proven experience in the Networking field (CCNA, CCNP or related) desired.
- Experience troubleshooting complex network scenarios involving carriers and/or third party partners.
- Experience in the web application security field.
- Experience with web application firewall (WAF) concepts and technologies.
- Experience with general security technologies, processes, and concepts.
- Self-motivated, independent, and able to understand complex systems.
- Experience writing/decoding exploit, vulnerability, and attack detection signatures.
- IT solution delivery experience, preferably within a consulting organization.
- Experience with Linux/Unix and web-related programming or scripting languages: Javascript, PHP, Shell Scripting, J2EE, .NET, JSP, ASP, Python, etc.
- Experience with TCP/IP network debugging with tcpdump/wireshark or similar.
- Experience working with web proxies such as Fiddler, Charles and others.
- Experience testing and debugging web applications.
- Experience with data processing, Real Time Reporting and Analytics.
- Working knowledge of the full software development life.
