Solutions Engineer/Pre Sales Engineer

Required Skills and Qualification:

*  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field or equivalent experience

*  Overall experience: 5+ years or equivalent technical experience

*  1 year work with each of the Internet Technologies, such as HTTP, DNS, Web Servers, Media streaming (Video/Audio), XML, and basic Linux technologies

*  5 years presenting (written and verbal) skills appropriate to both technical and management clients 

*  3 years providing innovative and flexible approach to solutions on technical issues as part of customer testing and evaluation processes.

Desired Skills:

*  Detailed knowledge of Internet technologies, such as HTTP, DNS, Streaming

*  Detailed knowledge of HTTP Streaming technologies (HLS, MSS etc.)

*  Detailed knowledge of IPTV technologies (CMS, Encoding, Packaging, Clients etc.)

*  Some level of hands on abilities with Linux variants for troubleshooting, configuration and scripting.

*  Knowledge of IP / web / DNS security architecture, common threats and mitigation techniques

*  Detailed knowledge of network routing and switching, network protocols including BGP, multicast, TCP/UDP/IP

*  Knowledge of HTTPS and impacts on HTTPS media delivery mechanisms

*  Experiences on HTTP2/QUIC, TCP BBR is a plus

*  Experience with configuration using XML

*  Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills appropriate to both technical and management level clients and/or partners.

*  A proven track record demonstrating good business judgment, an ability to make decisions, and a passion for excellence.

*  Must have experience developing and enhancing strong client relationship.
