Sr. Linux Kernel and OS Software Development

Required Education and Experience

Applicants must meet one of the following education and experience requirements:

* 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or

* 3 years of relevant experience and a Master’s degree

Required Skills

* Minimum of 5+ years of C programming experience within the Linux kernel

* Minimum of 5+ years of experience with concurrent programming, data structures, algorithms, complexity analysis

* Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Linux kernel debugging and performance analysis

* Minimum of 5+ years of experience working with multiple kernel subsystems (networking, block, mm, fs, scheduler, etc.)

* Minimum of 5+ years of experience with network protocols, including IP, IPv6, TCP, UDP, ICMP

* Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Unix shell scripting, Perl, or Python

Desired Skills

* Expert level understanding of Linux operating system and computer system architectures

* Prior contributions to Open Source projects, especially to the Linux kernel

* Experience with virtualization technologies
