Join our Customer Outcome Engineering team!
Our group is focused on understanding the strategic technology needs and priorities of Akamai’s largest Media customers. We deliver hyper-focused programs targeted at improving business outcomes and maximizing revenue growth. This new cross-functional team partners across sales, engineering, product management, support, and network teams; delivering successful results and long-term customer value.

Engineering based on business impact:
As a Senior Customer Outcome Engineer, you will help push the boundaries of innovation and engineering at Akamai. You will focus on the development and execution of Akamai’s operational strategy across a portfolio of core accounts.

As a Senior Customer Outcome Engineer you will be responsible for:
• Ensuring successful customer outcomes
• Enabling customer satisfaction and growth by identifying, advocating and executing on critical needs across our top customers
• Defining and executing on strategic and tactical customer success programs
• Providing clear and transparent reporting on the progress of sponsored projects to Akamai’s executive team


Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
• Have 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree 
• Have experience working with public cloud platforms, distributing computing, or content distribution technologies

• Show situational fluency and the ability to influence others through challenging business situations
• Demonstrate the ability to gather data from diverse sources to analytically determine business priorities
• Be comfortable communicating and managing relationships with executive level stakeholders
• Show strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a broad range of stakeholders

• Be passionate about inspiring a company-wide culture of customer success
