Required Education and Experience
Applicants must meet one of the following education and experience requirements:
* 2 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree
Required Skills
* 2+ years experience in at least one of the following: perl, python, SQL, shell
* 2+ years experience working with modern Internet protocols
* 2+ years working in a Linux / Unix environment
Desired Skills
* Strong written and verbal communication
* Prior operations experience in public-facing infrastructures
* Experience in working on massively distributed networks
* Strong understanding of Operating System concepts (such paging, devices, drivers, file systems, etc.)
* Strong desire to learn and increase knowledge set
* The ability to drive issues to resolution
* Strong communication skills, ability to work closely with other members of the team
