Systems Engineer..
Basic Qualification
● 2+ years as a ‘DevOps’ engineer and/or Linux System administrator managing Linux Servers and applications running on it.
● 2 years of experience working on Linux; basic system administration tasks
● Basic experience in managing databases like SQL or NoSQL
● Experience with automation using either Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Python, bash, Shell scripts.
● Basic troubleshooting and problem solving skills for performance issues, outages.
● Comfortable using GIT for source control with basic GIT commands or perforce for source control.
Desired Qualification
● Experience using RabbitMQ, Redis.
● Knowledge of AWS EC2, spawning instances, managing them
● Aware about docker containers and setting them up on a need basis
● Aware of Apache webserver, TLS and TLS certificates, Python WSGI server.
● Experience in troubleshooting applications hosted on Linux servers primarily built in Python Web Frameworks like Python-Django, Flask
● Use Nagios to review alerts and work with Internal IT team to configure appropriate alerts for an application with integrated notification system.
