Our Tax Team is supporting its operations through tax compliance reporting and advisory. We influence more than 30 countries across the globe, identifying opportunities, mitigating risks. We're collaborating with external tax providers to constantly improve our business.

Partner with the best

You'll have the opportunity to investigate US state tax laws and tax jurisdictions in over 30 countries. You'll be a part of a highly trained team and working with elite external partners. You will become a trusted advisor to our leadership and manage many tax areas.

As a Tax Analyst II, you will be responsible for:

• Creating Excel spreadsheets and work papers to support sales/use, personal property, and international VAT returns
• Liaising with external tax service providers, to ensure compliance and perform tax audits
• Interacting with tax authorities to resolve notices and/or requests for information.
• Analyzing tax accounts and prepare necessary reconciliations.
• Interacting with other Finance teams and providing expertise to support financial operations in relation to tax requirements
• Coordinating electronic funds transfers (EFTs) to pay taxes that are due.
• Preparing exemption certificates to ensure the company only pays sales tax to the proper jurisdictions
• Adopting and contributing to best practice guidelines to drive continuous improvements to processes

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have at least 2 years of experience in indirect tax compliance/consulting process
• Polish Tax Advisor certificate will be an asset (optional)
• Possess solid analytical and quantitative capabilities with an ability to provide data-backed analysis
• Be able to create clear and concise documentation and work-papers
• Have very good communication and writing skills in English
• Display an ethical approach, show integrity, personal drive, and be able to uphold Akamai values
• Show a desire for continuously learning and keeping up to date with changes in taxation
• Be good at managing priorities and multiple tasks to reach deadlines
