Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

 

Applicants must meet one of the following educations and experience requirements:
* 3 years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent or
* Relevant experience and a master’s degree or PhD or
* Relevant Professional Experience

 

Required Skills

3+ years of project management experience leading the delivery of enterprise level projects.

2+ years’ experience managing projects involving relational databases.

* Professional PMP certification through the Project Management Institute (PMI) is preferred.

* A strong technical orientation, exceptional planning and organizational skills, and a keen attention to detail are all required.

* Outstanding communication skills are required. 

* Must be fluent in Japanese and English.

* Proficient in using MS Office, Google suite, and Smartsheet.

* Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously preferred.

* Experience with implementing software solutions preferred.

* Understanding of building integrations using REST based APIs preferred.

 * 20-30% travel is expected.

 

Desired Skills

Implementation experience with web delivery technologies.

* Experience in one or more web development languages, methodologies, and/or architectures - J2EE, HTTP, DNS, .NET, C#, JSP, ASP, Tomcat, Apache.

Detailed knowledge of Internet technologies and considered a subject matter expert in any relevant internet topic.

* Experience delivering internet technologies within B2B or B2C - shopping cart, user personalization, and dynamic database architectures.

* Experience in a customer facing role requiring a high level of individual responsibility, sound business judgment and large enterprise account management, where an aptitude for improving customer satisfaction was successfully demonstrated.
