Required Education and Experience
Applicants must meet one of the following education and experience requirements:
* 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, another related field or its equivalent or
* Engineering or another related field.
Required Skills
* Knowledge of HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP Internet protocols
Desired Skills
* Customer-facing environment in the information technology industry
* Project management experience with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects.
* General exposure to security technologies, processes, and concepts such as web application security (i.e. SQL injection, XSS, and command injection attack vectors), network security (i.e. DNS amplification and reflection attack vectors), PKI, SSL, firewalls, NIST 800-53, FIPS-140-2, Authentication & Authorization, Client Certificates, OCSP, etc. a plus.
* Professional certification in information security (i.e. CISSP, CEH, GWAPT, or CISA) is desired.
* Good communication skills
* Enthusiastic, action oriented, capable of independently solving complex technical problems and able to communicate clearly and effectively to both technical and business audiences.
* Possess excellent technical aptitude and a desire to learn constantly.
* Implementation experience with web delivery technologies or other IT systems delivery.
* Experience with the impacts of Content Delivery and Distributed Computing within business and technical organizations.
