Technical Support Engineer Senior
Required Skills and Qualifications
• BSc in Computer Science or similar degree
• 8+ years experience in a technical support position, preferably with a cloud company.
• 3+ years as escalation engineer within L3/L4 support groups.
• 3+ years experience in technical support/services for cloud based products / Saas solutions / AWS
Desired Skills and Qualifications
• Strong experience with DNS server side
• Experience with SQL
• Knowledge and experience working with a variety of authentication schemes including SAML, Kerberos, NTLM, OIDC and Oauth2.
• Experience working with on-prem hypervisors such as VMware and Hyper-V and cloud-based IaaS platforms (AWS, Azure and GCE).
• Strong understanding of HTTP/S and related web technologies with the ability to troubleshoot issues using common tools such as Wireshark, browser developer tools, Fiddler and log collectors (Kibana).
• Working knowledge of common Microsoft server technologies such as Active Directory, Remote Desktop Services and AD FS.
• Experience with Security products such Firewall , Secure Web Gateway, threat detection
• Experience with Linux systems / networking and Scripting
• Understanding of TCP/IP
• Familiarity with NGINX reverse proxy functionality.
