Threat Data Scientist

Required Education and Experience:

Applicants must meet one of the following educations and experience requirements:

*  2 years of relevant experience and a Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or similar, or

*  Relevant experience and a Masters’ degree

Required Skills:

*  Minimum of 2 years experience in Data analysis

*  Minimum of 3 years experience in Python programming

*  Minimum of 3 years experience in SQL

*  Minimum 2 of years experience working on Unix platform

Desired Skills:

*  1 year experience in Javascript debugging

*  2 years experience with various open source data analytic packages such as Pandas, numPy, Matplotlib, etc

*  Strong verbal and written communications skills; experience presenting complex technical information, succinctly, to technical and business audiences.

*  Data visualization skills to translate complex models and analysis results into layman terms.

*  Experience, familiarity and ease with handling large, messy data sets. Prior experience with AWS Athena is a plus, but not required.

*  Understanding of Proxies, DNS, HTTP protocol, Browser Rendering engines.

*  Bot detection experience is a plus

*  Interest in Machine Learning, specifically anomaly detection and data mining

*  Interest in Web Application security
