Director, Network Account Management
Qualifications
· Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent
Required Education and Experience
· 10 years’ commercial experience in either Internet Service Providers, Telecom’s operators, OTTs or Cloud computing or equivalents.
· At least 5 years’ experience in successfully leading and managing a diverse, distributed team located in different countries and cultures.
Required Skills
· Fluent in Japanese and at least Business English
· Effective influencing and negotiation skills in an environment where resources may not be in direct control of this role.
· Proven track record of strong vendor management and partner relation skills to identify and leverage resources internal and external to the corporation enhancing capabilities that support our business.
· In depth understanding for all major functional areas of the Internet, transport/access networks and data centers.
· Experience managing and planning a complex multi-million-dollar operating budget.
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English, including the ability to explain technical concepts and technologies to business leaders, and business concepts to the Infrastructure & Operations teams.
· We are looking for an Executive who brings a strong reputation as a thought leader, awareness of industry trends as well as high level relationships in the ISP & Telco industries
Desired Skills
· Able to influence senior-level management and key stakeholders effectively across the organization and within complex contexts
· This position is located in the Asia Pacific region and requires up to 30% travel.
· Fluency in additional Asian languages positively viewed.
