Security Compliance Specialist Principal - Remote - Poland

Akamai's Information Security Team within Security Compliance is looking for a creative, detail-oriented problem-solver. You will help operationalize and mature our GRC platform/processes. You will support the GRC tool improvements and operationalize and mature the program.

Our team works with security professionals to improve Akamai's overall security posture and that of our customers. We work with internal/external stakeholders as well as external auditors and consultants to undertake compliance programs associated with external security standards.

As a Security Compliance Specialist Principal , you will be responsible for:

• Working with program development by setting goals, mentoring/advocating, and being a single point of understanding for activities related to TPRM
• Designing, advocating, and executing a long-term strategy for third party risk management
• Serving as the SME and POC for internal and external security requirements for TPRM initiatives
• Driving security compliance initiatives to completion
• Working independently and comfortably in ambiguous or less well defined circumstances to develop clear analysis
• Building on existing successful programs to facilitate maturing operational processes & metrics

To be successful in this role you will:

• Demonstrate experience operationalizing and maintaining third-party risk management programs
• Demonstrate experience with industry compliance and security standards (e.g., PCI, ISO, SOC 2, FedRAMP)
• Have familiarity with the internet and large scale technology companies
• Possess analytical and problem-solving skills
• Have the ability to work on multiple concurrent tasks, and to prioritize tasks to maximize productivity
