Senior Identity & Access Management Engineer - Remote Poland

Our team is responsible for safeguarding Akamai, its customers, and the Internet worldwide. You will report directly to the Senior Manager of IAM InfoSec Security Engineering. You will have the opportunity to address global security challenges and make the Internet a safer place, powered by the scale of Akamai's platform and influence.

Partner with the best

You will work on the analysis and implementation of tools to strengthen the security of Akamai Compute. Expect to do studies on preventive tools for identity and access management. You will help Akamai's Compute culture to become more agile, innovative and dynamic.

As a Senior IAM Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Designing, developing, testing, and integrating new and existing Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems and solutions.
• Advising stakeholders to improve IAM adoption across enterprise on following IAM domains: single sign-on, privilege access management, directory services, access federation and account lifecycle.
• Assessing current IAM landscape to deliver comprehensive reports with the recommendations to improve IAM posture.
• Supporting of the full life cycle of web access management solutions across different teams.
• Documenting functional, non-functional and technical specifications including KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions.
• Observing market trends in the IAM space and identify opportunities for the further development.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Demonstrate deep understanding of Linux, single sign-on, privilege access management, directory services, role management, role based access control, etc.
• Have automation experience using Python OR Go.
• Possess good communication skills to work with collaborative cross-functional teams of peers and departments within the company.
